We provide for our students an education in computer science and computer engineering and we attempt to instil in them the attitudes and values that will prepare them for a lifetime of continued learning and leadership. Through research the Department strives to generate new knowledge and technology for the benefit of everyone.

"SERVING THE COMMUNITY, LEARN THROUGH EXPERIENCE" CSE has an exciting calendar of events to nourish multi dimensional graduates. In addition to academics, the CSE department has several events occurring throughout the year, including social events that provide opportunities for students of different batches to socialize, and professional events like mentoring and internship selection, which allow the students to develop professionally and network with industry professionals.

The Department places a strong emphasis on research, with ongoing projects in the areas of computational intelligence, machine learning, distributed systems, e-learning, computer security and computation in local languages. Students have the ability to participate in these projects and have access to the latest hardware and developer tools from organizations such as Microsoft to assist them in their endeavours.
